Boy Injured In Winnetka Bicycle Accident


A young boy riding his bicycle in Winnetka has been hospitalized after being hit my a car. At 8:10 pm on Sunday night, the boy rode alone in the 20000 block of Keswick Street in Winnetka, near Los Angeles. According to reports, the boy rode directly into the street and into the car, suffering injuries from the impact that were worsened by his failure to wear a helmet. The boy, 8 years of age, was taken by airlift to a Los Angeles hospital for treatment. A Los Angeles police officer confirmed that the accident was indeed the child’s fault.
