Earlier this morning a single-engine plane crashed near Largo Vista Road in Palmdale, California. Investigators have arrived on the scene and police indicated that the cause of the crash is unknown at this time.

Many factors can contribute to a plane crash including:

  • Maintenance Failures
  • Pilot Error
  • Poor Weather Conditions
  • Plane Design Defect (Product Liability)

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are the two federal agencies that govern aviation. The NTSB investigates aviation accidents and the FAA enforces the laws as set forth by the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
