Two occupants of a semi truck were killed on Wednesday when their vehicle drove off a bridge and into the Little Wabash River on Saturday.
The collision occurred at the 124-mile post of Interstate 64, in a rural area of White County. The semi truck, which was headed southbound, collided with a center median and then went off the road and into the river.
The vehicle became submerged in the water and its occupants, both males, were killed.
The driver of the semi has been identified as Michael Goffinet, 48, and his passenger was 36-year-old Charles Boggs. Both were residents of Mississippi.
No other vehicles were involved, and the collision remains under investigation.
