Two people face charges for an alleged DUI crash involving a Lyft vehicle near Humboldt Park in Chicago on Friday.

The collision occurred at around 3:55 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Humboldt Boulevard. A Toyota Avalon crossed the center line of the road and collided head-on with a Toyota Camry headed in the opposite direction. The Camry was a Lyft vehicle.

One passenger in the Camry was seriously injured and pronounced dead shortly afterwards at a local hospital. She has been identified as Anudari Bayaraa, 23. Her injuries included blunt force head trauma.

The driver of the Lyft was seriously injured, and after being hospitalized was charged for misdemeanor DUI. She has been identified as Elizabeth Renter, 32. It is not clear which substance Renter is alleged to be under the influence of, but it is reported to be a drug, rather than alcohol.

Following the incident, Renter was removed from Lyft.

Another passenger in the Camry was injured as well, and declared in good condition. He has been identified only as a 31-year-old male.

The driver of the Avalon has been identified as Travis Anderson, 25. He faces multiple DUI-related charges including at least one felony count, and was denied bail.
