Monica Warner, a 23 year old woman from North Aurora, was backing her car out of a private driveway on the south side of the 200 block of Fabyan Parkway  at approximately 6 am this morning , when a garbage dump truck struck her vehicle.

Tragically, Ms. Warner was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while the driver of the dump truck, Matthew Flood of Carol Stream, was transported to Delnor Hospital in Geneva with non-critical injuries. Fabyan Parkway, between Raddant Road and Route 25, was temporarily closed this morning as Geneva police and the Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team investigated the fatal crash.
