Anna Harvey, a Lindhurst woman, who was celebrating her 34th birthday on May 2nd, was tragically killed that day when she was struck by a 2000 Toyota Camry while riding her bicycle. Ms. Harvey was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival. Ms. Harvey was a mother of two and a United States Army veteran who served 15 months in Iraq 2003.
INVESTIGATION
The driver of the Toyota Camry submitted to standard toxicology tests and was uninjured by the accident. No charges have been filed as of yet, as the Lake County Sheriff’s Office performs its investigation of the bicycle accident.
While the Sheriff’s Office may take several weeks to conclude its investigation, it is absolutely critical that an independent investigation begin immediately to preserve key evidence.
