Three Car Crash Injures Two Elderly People in Skokie


At Skokie Boulevard on Saturday morning, police officers responded to a three-car-crash that left two elderly people with minor injuries.

According to the Skokie police, an 87-year-old man was driving a white car on Skokie Boulevard when he hit a red car and then drove into the doorway of an apartment building. The driver of the red car, a 67-year-old woman, then crashed into a tree.

The 87-year-old man also hit an unoccupied parked car on the same street, though it was not part of the initial collision.

Both drivers were taken to Skokie Hospital for treatment. The 87-year-old man was cited for failure to yield.
