Anna Veredas, Christopher Mansfield, Judith Lawrence Injured in Sonora Car Crash

Anna Veredas

The California Highway Police identified Anna Veredas, Christopher Mansfield, and Judith Lawrence as victims of a Friday car crash in Sonora. The victims sustained injuries in the crash, with Veredas subsequently arrested, and in need of a drunk driving attorney.

The accident took place at about 10 p.m. on April 17, at Parrots Ferry Road, which is close to Porcina Way, and Marble Ferry Road.

Reports say that the 46-year-old Anna Veredas was on the wheels of a 2017 Honda Civic, and heading south on the road. 63-year-old Mansfield was also heading north on the road, driving a 2003 Ford Explorer.

All of a sudden, Veredas’ vehicle drifted into the northbound lane of the road, into the path of the Ford Explorer, causing a collision. Mansfield sustained serious injuries from the crash and was rushed to Doctors Medical Facility in Modesto for treatment.

Judith Lawrence, 64, who was a passenger in the Ford Explorer, and Veredas, sustained minor to moderate degrees of injuries. They were taken to the Adventist Health Sonora, where they received treatment.

Later on, Veredas got arrested on the suspicion that she was driving under the influence. She would require the services of a drunk driving attorney.

The state of California has one of the strictest DUI laws in the United States of America. A first-time offender (without bodily harm) can incur up to $2000 in fines, a 2-day jail term, and several months of license suspension.
