The police in Los Angeles, California, identified the woman who died in a solo vehicle crash on Tuesday, March 3rd. She is 23-year-old, Jennifer Mendoza of LA.
The accident occurred on Sunday, February 23rd, near Vermont Avenue off the ramp of the eastbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway. Based on the coroner’s report, the young woman died at the scene of the crash before paramedics arrived at about 12:45 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol later revealed that there were two passengers in the ill-fated vehicle, the driver and another passenger. The two, whose identity remains unknown, suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident remains unknown, and the authorities are still investigating. Alcohol and drugs do not seem to contribute to the crash, and it has not been determined if the driver was negligent while driving.
When there’s a lawsuit emanating from an accident in a California court, the negligence of the driver is always a focal point in determining liability. The actions and inactions of the driver will be considered to determine whether or not they have exercised the right amount of care.
