In a new accident report released by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, authorities confirmed the death of a man who passed away after his vehicle crashed off the road in Perris, California. The incident took place on Sunday, April 19.

According to the reports, officers responded to the site of a crash just after 7 am, following an emergency call about a collision on Georgiana Court involving at least one vehicle.

When officers arrived at the described location, they found a wrecked vehicle lying off the road, in an open field near the 800 block of Georgiana Court, with its driver fatally injured.

Paramedics accompanying the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department pronounced the accident victim dead at the scene. The circumstances leading to the fatal traffic collision was not described in the reports.

Riverside County authorities later identified the deceased motorist as Alejandro Saldana, a 22-year-old resident of Wilmington. Officers said no other occupant was present in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Post-mortem examination results would ascertain whether drugs and alcohol were contributing factors to the fatal wreck. No other information was revealed in the accident reports.

Police are still investigating to determine the cause of the tragic accident that claimed Saldana’s life.

During the investigations, police would look into possible causative factors like impairment, distracted driving, a faulty vehicle, prospective road hazards, or an underlying medical condition.

These factors have proven to be some of the most prevalent causes of traffic-related fatality in the State of California.
