A teenager who was killed in a traffic accident after a motorcycle she was riding in alongside her father crashed into a semi-truck in Hesperia, California, has been identified. The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office, on Wednesday, April 29, named the victim as 17-year-old Tristyn Shae Madole.
The victims’ family may need to consult a motorcycle accident attorney as new speculations suggest the involvement of a third vehicle, which may have, in fact, caused the accident.
The crash took place at about 2:51 pm on Tuesday, April 28. According to police reports, Tristyn Madole’s father, who was the rider of the motorcycle, was also involved in the crash but was not fatally injured.
As reported, the motorcycle, a Harley Davidson, was moving through the east travel lanes of Bear Valley Road, with the victim as a sole passenger.
For reasons yet to be established, the motorcycle struck a semi-truck from behind, expelling its two occupants and crashing to the ground.
When emergency responders arrived, they found Tristyn Madole and her father plagued with multiple severe injuries. The county coroner pronounced the 17-year-old girl dead, while her father was airlifted to a trauma hospital where he remains under treatment.
Although the cause of the crash is still unclear, officers suspect that a third vehicle may have been involved.
A motorcycle accident attorney can conduct an independent investigation, which could unveil additional evidence relating to the case. That way, the liability of the crash may be lifted from the victims.
