Accidents can happen at any time, and no one can be prepared for one. However, motorists can take some precautionary measures to limit the risks of collisions.

Some of these measures include regular maintenance of vehicles. Car drivers, motorcycle riders, and other motorists must carry out regular checks on their vehicles at intervals.

They must replace worn-out vehicle parts with new ones and also service their automobiles regularly to prevent them from breaking down on the road.

Apart from carrying out regular maintenance, motorists must also be safety conscious at all times by making use of their seatbelts. Motorcyclists must also use their helmets and other protective gear. All drivers and riders must obey traffic laws and operate their vehicles safely too.

Accident reports show that many road crashes occur when one or more of these safety measures are not adhered to. Thus, motorists must abide strictly to these measures and obey traffic authorities at all times.
