Ceres Two-Vehicle Collision Injures Raul Hernandez; Kills One Other


On Saturday, May 30th, in the city of Ceres, California, a male motorist survived a two-vehicle collision while a female driver lost her life. The Ceres Police Department in the accident report disclosed the survivor’s name as Raul Soto Hernandez; they have not identified the deceased.

The crash report showed that the tragic collision happened around 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Hatch Road and Central Avenue. The police said that the unidentified female driver was driving an unknown car model on the east lane of Hatch.

At the same time, Hernandez was making a left turn from Central Avenue. The investigators say that the woman from Turlock then crashed into the injured man’s vehicle for unknown reasons. The investigators said the female driver passed away at the scene from the injuries sustained.

Hernandez sustained undisclosed injuries, and the medics took him to an area medical center to receive treatment. The police have not disclosed additional information about the accident, but the investigation remains active.
