On Monday, October 19th, the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Division revealed that a man died in a head-on collision in San Bernardino, California. The coroner identified the victim as 26-year-old city resident Alexander Barrientos.
Facts from the car accident report placed the time of the occurrence around 4:02 p.m. on Friday, October 16th. It happened on Highland Avenue west of Macy Street. The victim traveled as a right front seat passenger in a 2016 Nissan Sentra.
The coroner’s division said a two-door sports coupe struck the Nissan after veering into its lane from the opposite traffic lane. Paramedics with the San Bernardino County Fire Department pronounced Barrientos dead at the crash site.
The investigation into the occurrence is ongoing, and it is headed by the San Bernardino Police Department Major Investigation Team. There is no additional information.
