Brint Everette Taylor Injured in Fatal Crash Following Heated Police Pursuit

A man suffered severe injuries after encountering a tragic collision while fleeing patrol officers in a suspected stolen vehicle in San Bernardino County, California. Accident reports obtained confirmed that the traffic crash, which took place on Thursday morning, April 9, left at least one person dead.

The reports showed that the incident began just after 1 am when officers spotted a vehicle near Medical Centre Drive, which fit the description of a Kia Soul reported stolen earlier.

The on-duty officers attempted to pull over the allegedly stolen car, but the driver failed to comply, fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed, with the police on his trail.

After leading the patrol officers in pursuit for several minutes, the motorist lost control of the Kia Soul, veered off the road, and slammed into a parked vehicle at the intersection of 16th Street and Medical Center Drive. The car reportedly struck a tree and a telephone pole on its path.

The two occupants of the stolen vehicle suffered severe injuries in the traffic wreck. The driver, identified as Brint Everette Taylor, 19, was transported to a health facility, where he remains in critical condition, as per the accident reports.

Emergency responders pronounced the 18-year-old passenger dead at the scene. The name of the deceased, who was travelling alongside Brint at the time of the crash, was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

The tragic crash remains under investigation.
