Dracy Anderson Uninjured in West Covina Traffic Accident

A traffic accident in West Covina, California, claimed one life and left one person unscathed. The car accident reports showed that Dracy Anderson, 27, survived the Thursday, May 28th, accident without any injury.

The crash report disclosed that an unnamed 26-year-old El Monte woman began the events that led to the accident that ended her life. At around 4:30 a.m., the woman alighted from her disabled car on the lane heading east on San Bernardino (10) Freeway.

The California Highway Patrol said in a news briefing that the woman parked her Toyota Camry within the traffic lanes after experiencing possible mechanical issues. As she stepped out of her car, a 2019 Nissan Altima driven by Anderson struck her. The latter did not sustain any injury from the collision.

The victim passed away at the scene of the accident, and the medics pronounced her dead. Anderson remained and cooperated with the authorities. The CHP did not arrest the man as he didn’t have any liability in the fatal accident.

The collision led to the closure of the eastbound lane of the freeway for two hours while the investigators conducted their preliminary findings and cleared the scene. Anyone with relevant information about the accident should contact the CHP Baldwin Park Area Office.

Reports of car accidents show that parking in the middle of traffic lanes is dangerous and often leads to crashes. Drivers whose cars get disabled should move it to the slow lane of the roadway to avoid fatal traffic collisions.
