Larry Mangrobang Identified as Fatal Victim of Bakersfield Multi-Vehicle Collision

The identification of a man killed earlier this week in a tragic multi-vehicle collision in Bakersfield, California, calls for the intervention of a car accident lawyer. The Kern County Coroner’s Office, on Thursday, May 14, disclosed the fatal victim’s identity as Larry Jose Mangrobang Sr., 41.

Authorities reported the incident on Tuesday, May 12, saying it occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m., at the intersection of White Lane and Grissom Street. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the traffic encounter involved no fewer than four vehicles.

Preliminary reports showed the crash began with an initial two-vehicle collision initiated by Mangrobang, who was behind the wheels of one of the cars. Mangrobang’s car then swayed out of control and struck two other vehicles, also waiting at the intersection.

The vehicle sustained severe damages in the wreck, causing major bodily injuries to the driver. Medics accompanying the responding officers rescued the man from the wreckage and transported him to an area hospital, where sadly, he gave in to his wounds while receiving treatment. Hospital personnel pronounced him dead at precisely 3:11 p.m. on the same day.

Officers failed to disclose whether distracted driving, speed, or impairment by drugs or alcohol contributed to the collision. The incident remains under investigation.

Victims of traffic collisions or their families should endeavor to get in touch with a car accident lawyer in due time.
