Auto-pedestrian accidents are a menace on California roadways and one of the leading causes of crash-related deaths. According to the Cal-Office of Traffic Safety, the problem is going from bad to worse with more people walking to school, work, or malls, as an alternative to driving.
Drivers and pedestrians play a role in this type of accident, and they must work together to promote safe road habits for their safety and others. They can achieve this by obeying traffic rules and regulations and following safety tips released by law enforcement and traffic agencies.
