Motorcycle Accident Ends The Life Of Bryan Paredes In Los Angeles

The California Highway Patrol has reported a man dead after his bike crashed into a center divider on Santa Ana 5 Freeway in East Los Angeles, California. The crash happened a few blocks away from Indiana Street on Thursday, March 5.

Authorities identified the deceased shortly after responding to the incident, and have since set up a crew to look into the motorcycle crash.

In a statement released by the CHP, the victim struck a center divider on the east Los Angeles freeway while riding on his motorcycle near Indiana Street around 4:35 am.

The forceful collision caused the young man to be discharged from the bike and knocked into the southbound traffic lanes where he was run over by an oncoming vehicle. The motorcyclist died in the crash due to multiple injuries sustained from the impact.

Following the fatal accident, the motorist operating the car halted on the scene, exited the freeway and contacted the state’s police department to notify them of the fatality. The crash victim’s death was confirmed on the arrival of the CHP.

The deceased was identified by the California Highway Patrol as Bryan Paredes, a 24-year-old resident of Norwalk. However, the name of the motorist was not disclosed to the public.

Field Sobriety tests carried out on the car driver suggested he was not intoxicated at the time of the accident. However, the highway patrol is yet to ascertain if the motorcycle rider was under the influence of drugs or alcohol before the crash happened.

As part of investigations, individuals with useful information on the crash have been asked to contact the CHP Central Area office.
