22-year-old McKenna Marie Pick of Garden Grove would need the expertise of a drunk driving attorney following her arrest for a DUI accident in Huntington Beach, California. Officers with the Huntington Beach Police Department took the woman into custody on Wednesday, August 12th.
According to the police, the early crash happened on Springdale Street at about 12:20 a.m. near Croupier Drive. The suspect was northbound on Springdale when she struck a male pedestrian. The police said that the 26-year-old man sustained severe wounds that he succumbed to at the scene.
The HBPD said that Pick remained at the scene, and they determined that she was intoxicated at the time. At about 2:20 a.m., officers placed her under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, causing severe bodily injury, and possession of a narcotic controlled substance.
