On Wednesday, May 27th, the authorities disclosed the name of the man who caused an accident in Rancho Cucamonga, California, that claimed one life. The California Highway Patrol revealed the suspect’s name as Froebel Fernando Amador, 38, and he would need a car accident attorney’s service.
The CHP said that the accident caused by the man occurred four days ago, on Sunday, May 24th, on the 210 Freeway on-ramp. A little after 4 a.m., Amador was heading east on the freeway in a Kia Optima at top speed.
In the area between Haven Avenue and Milliken Avenue, the man struck the back of a Saturn sedan heading in the same direction. The impact left the second driver identified by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office as Robert Monreal Beltran, 62, with severe injuries.
The Sedan driver passed away at the scene of the accident, and the paramedics pronounced him dead. Amador was unscathed from the collision, and officers later discovered that he was under the influence at the time of the crash. They arrested him on suspicion of DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
The CHP booked the suspect into the West Valley Detention Center in place of $250 000 bail bond. The tragic incident remains under investigation, and there’s currently no additional information.
Traffic collisions are one of the leading causes of deaths in the United States, and drivers should practice safe road habits for their safety. Those involved in motor vehicle crashes should contact a car accident attorney to represent their interest.
