Ernesto Deleon and Two Teenage Daughters Killed in West Dallas Crash, Leaving Wife Hospitalized

A top accident lawyer would come in handy after a family of four encountered a fatal crash in West Dallas, Texas, that left at least three people dead. The incident took place early on Monday morning, May 26.

Officers responded to the crash shortly after 1:25 a.m. on reports of a two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Singleton Boulevard and West Hampton Road. The reports affirmed that an alleged drunk driver struck a vehicle conveying the Deleon family, causing death to three people. A female occupant survived the wreck with critical injuries.

Investigators gathered that the traffic crash kicked off when a speeding vehicle, driven by a 23-year-old man jumped a red light at an intersection. The careless move caused him to collide with another car crossing the intersection southbound on a green light. The impact caused severe damages to both vehicles.

The operator of the struck car, identified as Ernesto Deleon, 47, and two teenagers, Ashley Deleon, 18, and Leslie Deleon, traveling in the backseat, suffered fatal injuries. A fourth person in the vehicle, a 42-year-old woman occupying the front passenger seat, suffered serious injuries.

Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after and pronounced the three fatally injured victims dead. The wounded female and a 16-year-old boy traveling in one of the vehicles received transportation to a hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, detectives determined the offending motorist, who was not seriously injured, was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. They took him into custody following his release from the hospital.

The unidentified culprit faces a charge of intoxication assault, and three counts of intoxication manslaughter.

People who have lost a loved one in a traffic accident should endeavor to contact a top accident lawyer for counsel and representation.
