A child star who made his television debut in a popular primetime soap opera when he was just 5 months old died last week in a San Bernardino County car wreck, authorities confirmed this weekend.
Lorenzo Brino, 21, died from injuries sustained in the single-vehicle wreck, which occurred at 3 a.m. Monday in Yucaipa, authorities revealed Sunday. He was the sole occupant of the car and no one else was injured.
Authorities told local media outlets that Brino lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a utility pole, suffering fatal injuries as a result.
Brino and his brother, Nikolas Brino, played fraternal twins Sam and David Camden on “Seventh Heaven,” a popular family drama that ran on The WB from 1996 to 2007. The two, who represented one half of real-life quintuplets, were just infants when they made their debut in the program’s third season.
Brino’s sister, Mimi – who as an infant shared acting duties with Nikolas and Lorenzo – posted a tribute to the late actor on Instagram.
“Saying that you were a blessing is an understatement,” she wrote. “You brought light to so many lifes and you did so much with the too short of a life that you had. … Believe me when I say that you drove me so insane at times, but you were also a part of some of my most cherished memories.”
