In a tragic accident on Cicero Avenue, Janusz Kamienski was struck and killed by a taxi cab while crossing Archer Avenue. Police immediately responded to the scene and the cab driver, Lester Brown, was cited for speed.
Court records indicate that Brown has had been cited for numerous traffic violations in the past decade, including numerous speeding tickets. City records do not show that Brown currently has a livery license, nor that he has had a livery license revoked or suspended since 2006.
