Fatal Crash on Highway 15 – Two Semi-Trucks Crush Passenger Vehicle

This morning, the Southbound I-15 freeway was shut down after a Toyota was crushed in-between two tractor-trailer big-rig trucks. The driver of the Toyota was killed in the accident.

As the winter storm passed through Southern California, heavy rain and snow throughout the Victor Valley and Cajon Pass made driving on the highways extremely difficult. As traffic was coming to a halt, the Toyota slowed behind a semi-truck and was hit at what appears to be a high-speed. The Semi-truck rear-ended the Toyota smashing it against the big-rig in front.

Semi-truck accidents are some of the most dangerous and catastrophic types of accidents on the highways in California. Sharing the highways with these huge vehicles in dangerous weather conditions can be an extremely hazardous situation. Since these commercial trucks are typically owned and operated by companies, it is important that you seek the advice of an experienced law firm to help you through these times.
