A car accident this morning resulted in the death of one woman, in an accident that is suspected to be the result of drunk driving. At around 2:25 am, the driver of a Honda Civic, 26-year-old Fontana woman, stood from her car after it stalled and switched positions with another passenger, but was struck from behind by another car. The woman as well as two passengers suffered injuries, ranging from mild to moderate injuries, which ended fatal for the woman of Fontana, who died in the hospital later.
According to reports, the driver of the other car involved was not aware of the stalled car on the side of the road. She was also treated for injuries at a local hospital, but was taken in on suspicion of manslaughter following treatment.
