Alleged DUI Motorist, Anthony Squiteri Arrested in Chico

An alleged DUI motorist in Chico, California, may need the expert intervention of a drunk driving attorney following his arrest on Monday, April 20. The suspect, identified as Anthony Squiteri, 28, was detained for possession of drugs, DUI, and in connection with two outstanding charges for which he was previously declared wanted.

According to the reports by the Chico Police who apprehended the suspect, they found Squiteri unresponsive in a car parked at the McDonald’s drive-through in the area of Mangrove and Palmetto avenues.

The vehicle reportedly had its engine running, which prompted officers to check it out. Officers discovered a hypodermic needle sticking out of the pocket on his hoodie.

Upon a thorough search of the man’s vehicle, more controlled substances were found, including 10 grams of methamphetamine, 30 Xanax pills, and over 11 grams of heroin.

The man was taken into custody by officers of the Chico Police Department. Police later discovered that Anthony Squiteri was wanted for domestic violence in connection with a confrontation which occurred on March 31.

In addition, he was previously arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and jumping a red light on March 27.

The felon was booked into a county jail on charges of driving under the influence, drug possession, and one felony count of domestic violence.

Although a drunk driving attorney may be effective in assessing Squitieri’s DUI offenses, other charges leveled against him may prove evasive.
