One of the updates to car accident reports from the city of Los Angeles, California, revealed the authorities identified the male driver who died in a single-vehicle accident. On Monday, June 1st, Jerry McKibben of the coroner’s office disclosed 23-year-old Tito Diaz Jr. as the deceased.
The life of the young Van Nuys resident ended after his car overturned, fell, and rolled 25 feet into a thick brush in the 8500-block of West Mulholland Drive. The latter is in the Beverly Hills Crest area of the city, and the crash occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Friday, May 29th.
Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a news briefing that the fall left Tito Diaz Jr. with extensive injuries, and paramedics found him unresponsive when they arrived. There was nothing they could do for the young victim, and they declared him dead at the crash site.
The deceased had a male passenger with him at the time of the accident, and the person sustained non-life threatening injuries. The medics used a land ambulance to convey him to an undisclosed medical center for treatment.
Reports of car accidents show that motor vehicle crashes are among the leading causes of death in California. To reduce the death rate and save more lives, drivers should drive with caution when behind the wheel.
An intoxicated person should never drive a car, avoid every form of distraction, and always maintain the speed limit. When there’s an accident, call for help, and remain at the scene until the first responders arrive.
