Julian Miller Charged with Hit-and-Run After Fleeing Santa Rosa Accident Scene

A hit-and-run crash in Santa Rosa, California, left one of its residents with injuries and in need of a top accident lawyer’s service. According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, they placed Julian D. Miller, 30, under arrest, on Sunday, August 16th, for fleeing the scene of an accident.

Facts from the accident report showed that the events leading to the suspect’s arrest began with a police chase. Officers at about 2:30 p.m. tried to pull Miller over near Guerneville Road and Range Avenue on the city’s north side.

The man fled west on Guerneville in his black Toyota sedan, and he clipped the side mirror of another vehicle. Next, he ran a red light and crashed into a silver sedan at the Fulton Road intersection. The police said that Miller then proceeded to exit his vehicle despite having significant injuries.

The suspect fled on foot through Rotten Robbie’s gas station and continued to Westamerica Bank on the southeast corner of the intersection before the police caught him. The victim in the silver sedan was uninjured, except for complaints of pain.

Medics took Miller to the hospital where he remained as of 9 p.m. Sunday. The man upon his release will answer to a charge of a hit-and-run with injury. The SRPD also charged him with possession of narcotics for sale and felony warrant violation. There is no additional information, and investigators will release an update as events unfold.
