Eddie Reeves Injured in Two-Vehicle Head-on Collision in Cressley

A two-vehicle collision which took place in the Cressley area of California left at least one motorist seriously injured. The tragic occurrence was reported early on Thursday morning, April 16, and requires the involvement of a car injury lawyer.

Confirming the incident, the CHP said a Jaguar Sedan and an SUV collided just outside of Cressey at precisely 6:19 am, leaving one of the motorists trapped inside his severely dented vehicle.

It was determined that the Jaguar Sedan, driven by Marco Galvan, 39 was traveling on Sante Fe Drive, just west of El Capitan Way.

At the same time, a GMC Yukon SUV was eastbound on the highway. For reasons yet to be established, Galvan’s vehicle veered into the right shoulder and swiftly overcorrected.

The maneuver caused him to lose control of the Jaguar, which swerved into the eastbound traffic lanes, on the path of the oncoming SUV. The two vehicles collided as a result.

The operator of the Yukon SUV, identified as Eddie Reeves, 40, remained stuck in his vehicle until law enforcement arrived, and rescued him from the wreck. He suffered major injuries in the crash.

Reeves was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center, Modesto for immediate medical attention. His present condition has not been disclosed.

The almost fatal incident is still being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.

It is important that victims injured in a car accident get in touch with a car accident lawyer for representation, and do so as soon as possible.
