Fatal Riverside Motorcycle Crash Kills Claudia Lucrey

A deadly motorcycle accident on 215 Freeway in Riverside County, California, sent a woman to the afterlife. The tragic crash that killed Claudia Lucrey, 29, occurred on Tuesday night, March 10th.

Lucrey was riding on her motorcycle when she collided with an SUV at about 9:30 p.m. north of Cactus Avenue near March Air Reserve Base. When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the woman lying on the roadway.

Lucrey was unresponsive, and about 9:40 p.m., the medics pronounced her dead, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office. The driver of the SUV, a Toyota Highlander, stopped after colliding with the motorcycle and was the one who dialled 911.

The California Highway Patrol and Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department were the first responders at the scene. The CHP said the deceased did not stand much chance of survival as she got ejected from her bike.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and drugs or alcohol do not seem to be a factor at this time. The identity of the driver of the SUV was not released, and there’s no information on whether he will get charged.

When an accident happens, those involved often get anxious, which leads to fleeing the scene and abandoning the victim. When there’s a lawsuit arising from an accident, the court always considers the conduct of the driver in passing out a sentence or granting compensation.

California law provides that anyone involved in an accident should stop at the scene or the next possible place and attend to anyone who is injured. The person should provide his or her contact details and answer questions from the investigating authority honestly.
