Los Angeles Big Rig Truck Spill Closes Freeway 118


A jackknifed big rig truck near LA reportedly closed down eastbound freeway 118 into Granada. Reported at around 9 am on Tuesday, it was said that the truck jackknifed in the middle of the freeway, spilling oil across the lanes. Lanes were blocked, and the highway eventually closed while crews pursued to cleanup the spill and resume traffic. At 11 am, two lanes reopened, the rest remaining closed for another half hour.So far, fortunately no injuries have been reported as a result of the Los Angeles big rig truck accident.
