Chapman Avenue was shut down this morning after a fiery big rig collision that left the truck driver dead and four other motorists wounded. The tragic trucking accident occurred at 7 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-57 near Chapman and Cal State Fullerton. The semi had been carrying a load of meat products when it crossed southbound lanes; hit the center divider ended up in the northbound lane. There, the truck hit a car and caught on fire.
