The services of a motorcycle attorney would be needed following the identification of a man who met his end after a passing vehicle struck his motorcycle in Riverside, California. The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner Office, on Wednesday, May 6, identified the fatal victim as 20-year-old Trenton Mersola, of Riverside.

Sheriff deputies responded to the crash just after 4:10 pm on Tuesday, May 5, on reports of a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car near Canyon Crest Drive.

The precise sequence of events leading to the crash is still unclear. However, the reports show that the two vehicles involved collided while traveling through the area of Central Avenue and El Cerrito Drive.

Fire rescue operatives from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly after the crash happened. They found Mersola sprawled on the roadway, unresponsive. Medics accompanying the firefighters pronounced the motorcycle rider dead at the scene.

Authorities did not disclose the identity and condition of the motorist that struck the motorcyclist. The accident reports also failed to ascertain if impairment by drug or alcohol played a role in the tragic collision that led to Mersola’s death.

The cause of the fatal traffic wreck is still under investigation.

Car-motorcycle accidents in California have been on the rise in recent years, with many resulting in fatalities. In most cases, the fatal victims are usually the motorcyclists as they are more vulnerable, leading to an increased demand for a motorcycle attorney.
