The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Coroner’s Office, on April 21, named a 58-year-old man, Cesar Heredia, as the victim of a car accident in San Jose, California. The deceased died after his car collided with another vehicle, according to accident reports.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred on April 13, at about 4:20 p.m. in the North White Road and Gion Avenue area.
The accident involved a black 2017 Nissan Rogue that was traveling southwards on North White Road. The vehicle was about to turn left onto Gion Avenue when it got hit by a green 2002 Volkswagen Passat.
The impact that resulted from the collision between both vehicles caused the Volkswagen to turn over, colliding with some cars parked in the area.
Heredia, who was driving the Volkswagen died on the spot, while the driver of the Nissan stayed on at the scene. Accident reports also state that the unidentified driver helped in the investigations into the crash.
While there is no further information about the accident, investigations have continued.
