Authorities ID Pedestrian Killed in Anderson Traffic Collision as Teesha Lorae McCarley

The fatal victim of a vehicle versus pedestrian accident which took place last week Monday at the ramp of Highway 273 in Anderson, California, has been identified. The Shasta County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday, March 31, disclosed the deceased’s identity as Teesha Lorae McCarley, 45, of Corning, without indicating the involvement of a car accident lawyer.

The traffic collision was reported near the intersection of Highway 273, and Alexander Avenue at precisely 3 am on Monday, March 23. Deputies arrived at the crash site moments later and found the victim sprawled unconscious on the roadway.

Investigating officers determined that the Corning resident was walking along an unspecified part of the road, a few miles from 5 Freeway, when she got hit by a vehicle and knocked to the ground.

Teesha Lorae McCarley suffered fatal injuries as a result and was pronounced dead by emergency responders after several attempts to rescue her.
