Pace Paratransit Van Crash Leaves 13 People Injured

A Pace paratransit van was headed north on Pulaski this afternoon when another vehicle crashed into it head-on near 76th street.  A black SUV was also struck as a result of the initial automobile accident. In total, thirteen people were injured in the resulting three-vehicle crash on the Southwest Side, where at least six ambulances responded at the scene.

At least on of the injuries is currently considered serious, while the condition of many of the other car accident victims in not currently known.  The driver and passenger victim of the Pace vehicle were both injured in the collision but their conditions are currently not considered to be life threatening.
