An accident in Fort Worth on February 18, resulted in the death of 21-year-old Hector Javier Arcinie Martinez.
Witnesses stated that they saw a black Chevrolet Tahoe weaving in and out of traffic on U.S. Highway 287 around 6:30 in the morning.
When the Fort Worth Police Department arrived at the scene of the accident, they found the black Chevrolet Tahoe had run into the support pillar of the bridge and a white Dodge truck a short ways away that had rolled in the collision and come to rest down the street.
Authorities are unsure if the accident was a result of racing or if it was that of road rage.
A passenger was reported to be present in the Tahoe, they had to be extracted from the vehicle due to the state of the vehicle after the accident.
The driver of the white Dodge truck was able to escape on his own.
There have been no statements released from either the passenger of the Tahoe or the driver of the truck that explain the circumstances revolving around the accident.
It is unclear if any of those involved in the accident were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. The other two were treated for minor injuries.
It did not appear that drugs or alcohol played a part in the accident.
The investigation of the accident is ongoing by the Fort Worth Police Department and anyone who has any information should contact them with relevant information.
