Ricardo Cabrera Rivera Dies in Long Beach Car Crash


The Washington State Patrol reported that a crash that occurred north of Long Beach, Washington, left a 22-year-old man, Ricardo Cabrera Rivera, dead. Accident reports state that the crash happened on Tuesday, May 12, and that two other people were involved.

Rivera was driving a white Ford pickup and heading north on State Route 103 when he crossed the center line and hit a fence. Two other passengers were in the vehicle. They are Jose D. Gaspar Nemecio, 31, of Vancouver, and Ramon Nava Torres, 57, of Aloha, Oregon.

Rivera sustained critical injuries as a result of the collision and died. The report didn’t make it clear if he passed away at the scene or after transport to a hospital. The two passengers were unhurt from the crash.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. The WSP in its report said that the victim and the other passengers had their seatbelts on when the accident happened. The reports also stated that drugs or alcohol wasn’t a factor in the crash.
