Emilia Rodriguez, 39, of Anaheim was driving on the southbound 5 freeway on Tuesday when her car was hit by a truck and then wedged underneath a semi-truck big-rig. Rodriguez was taken to nearby UCI Medical Center with serious injuries.

It is unclear whether the drivers of either the truck or the semi-truck were injured. The crash took place at 9am and backed-up traffic during rush hour.
