As reported, the fatal victim was driving her SUV near the area of 25th and Dakota streets at about 7:21 pm when the accident happened.

Investigators gathered that the female victim was a passenger in a Nissan SUV traveling along the neighborhood. For unknown reasons, the vehicle broke through a fence located off the freeway and skidded down a hill before coming to rest in a parking lot.

When the emergency rescue team arrived, they found at least three victims severely injured, two of whom were unresponsive. Paramedics pronounced the two unresponsive victims dead at the scene.

Authorities have disclosed the identity of one of the victims as 28-year-old Angelique Starks, while the name of the other fatal victim was withheld pending the notification of their next of kin.

The third victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment of fatal injuries sustained.

The accident reports did not disclose which of the involved parties was operating the vehicle at the time, or whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the tragic wreck.

Investigations into the cause of the fatal occurrence are still in the works. Investigators would consider possible causative factors like distracted driving, speed, a faulty vehicle, or impairment.
