Last Wednesday, a 24-year-old man fatally crashed his 2001 Yamaha motorcycle into a stopped freight truck in Rosewood California. The man, from Los Angeles has not yet been identified was killed after suffering fatal injuries. The freight truck was stopped on 154th Street with its emergency hazard lights on while the truck driver was unloading materials from the truck. For unknown reasons, as the investigation continues, the motorcyclist collided with the truck. He was taken to the Memorial Hospital of Gardena where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later.

Catastrophic motorcycle accidents like this one require an immediate, complete and thorough investigation into the causes and contributing factors leading to the loss of such a young life. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of this young man.
