Late Thursday night at Los Angeles International Airport, an aircraft collided with a tow truck on the tarmac leaving one person with minor injuries.
According to airport police, China Southern Airlines flight 328 was in the taxiing lane, scheduled to depart for Guangzhou when it smashed into a tow truck between Terminal 4 and the Tom Bradley International Terminal just before midnight.
The aircraft was carrying 447 passengers and 28 crew members at the time of the crash, but no injuries were reported. An occupant of the airport tug was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Following the crash, the plane was taxied to the terminal for inspection and repairs, as the nose gear door of the plane was damaged. Two flights were canceled because of the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
