In a tragic bicycle accident, Brian Winfrey, 47-years-old, was stuck and killed while riding his bicycle this past Monday in Garden Grove. Winfrey, from Laguna Hills was riding his bicycle on Euclid Street, near Wakefield Avenue around 7 p.m. when he was struck by a driver in an SUV.
DRIVER IDENTIFIED
The driver of the SUV was identified as 48 year-old, Bach Truong. She was was driving a white Honda CRV. Winfrey was wearing a yellow reflector jacket at the time of the crash and the cause of the crash is still being investigated. Truong did stay the scene and spoke with police and investigators. There was no sign of any substance or alcohol involvement.

Winfrey was immediately taken to UCI Medical Center where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
