Teenage Josh Ludeker Miraculously Recovers After Brain Injuries in Truck Accident

The 18-year-old Josh Ludeker from Grand Rapids, Michigan, is due to be released to go home this Friday after undergoing a final surgery. He had developed blood clots after being severely injured in a road accident. The doctors have given up hope and so had his family. And his recovery is being hailed as an unexpected miracle.

Josh ran into the accident back in September, 2019. He was driving his truck when he crashed it. He sustained severe injuries including broken back and ribs, damage to the spleen and liver as well as a brain injury. He then had to undergo multiple injuries and extensive rehab therapy at the Mary Free Bed.

The doctors were about to give him leave from the hospital just before his condition worsened suddenly. It was then discovered that he had developed blood clots. After many attempts at removing the clots, the doctors gave up on Josh. His mother, Chris Ludeker, was asked to take him home as nothing more could be done.

Back at home, Josh’s mother watched her son lay there, being unable to verbally communicate. According to Ludeker, it was then that she suddenly saw one night that Josh felt and acted differently. Ludeker immediately contacted the hospital. Josh was once again taken to the medical facility where he underwent another surgery. To the sheer surprise of the doctors, his blood clots had totally disappeared. He is now getting released from the hospital this Friday to finally go back home.
