The involvement of a car accident lawyer is paramount after a female motorist lost her life in a three-vehicle crash on a road intersection in Fresno, California. The Fresno County authorities on Sunday, April 26, named the fatal victim as Rosa Parra, a 39-year-old resident of Cutler.
The incident took place at about 11:28 am on Friday at the intersection of Floral Avenue and Alta Avenue. The California Highway Patrol officers said the crash involved two commercial vehicles and a car driven by the deceased woman.
Investigators gathered that a Toyota heading west on Floral Avenue waited at the intersection to observe the stop signal. A second vehicle, a semi-truck, also driving through the same route, failed to pull over at the intersection, thereby crashing into the awaiting car from behind.
The impact of the collision caused the semi to flip over, while causing the Toyota to spiral out of control and enter the intersection, onto the path of a third vehicle, a semi-truck.
The reports asserted that one of the semis burst into flames after the crash. Fire Department personnel responded at the scene shortly after and put out the fire in the burning vehicle.
Paramedics pronounced Parra, who was the driver of the Toyota, dead at the scene. Another motorist, operating one of the trucks involved suffered injuries of undisclosed nature and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Drugs and alcohol were not suspected as possible causes of the crash. Investigations into the fatal occurrence are still ongoing.
Car accident victims and their families are advised to contact a car accident lawyer as soon as possible for representation.
