Navarro, Gomez, and Hernandez Identified as Victims of Dallas Crash


Authorities have identified three women, Juanito Navarro, 79, Norma Cruz Gomez, 51, and Ana Marie Hernandez, 50, as the victims of the vehicle crash at Dallas, Texas, on April 30. According to accident reports, two of the women died at the scene of the accident, while another died in the hospital.

Reports from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said that the vehicle conveying the decedents was stalled on the interstate near South Marsalis Avenue. Deputies from the Sheriff’s office received a distress call about the car and went to respond to it. On arrival at the scene, the officers discovered that the vehicle had been hit from behind by a pickup truck. The crash happened at about 9 a.m.

Medics attended to the three women, but two of them were pronounced dead at the scene. A third was taken to the hospital, where she also died. The driver of the pickup truck stayed back at the scene of the crash and helped officers with investigations.

According to accident reports from authorities, Ms. Navarro drove the vehicle occupied by the women, while Ms. Gomez was her daughter. Ms. Hernandez, on the other hand, was a sister to Navarro.
