Pierce Wilkerson & Odell Flecker Arrested After Crashing Stolen Vehicle in Sulphur Springs

A recent accident report obtained from the Sulphur Springs Police confirmed the arrest of three young men who allegedly crashed a vehicle during a police chase. The incident took place on Thursday, May 7, in the Sulphur Springs area of Texas.

Confirming the encounter, authorities said they detained Keaton Pierce Wilkerson, and Qieshon Odell Flecker, both 17, and another juvenile, after a chase through the city.

The ordeal began at about 8:39 a.m. when an officer on patrol tried to get a motorist to pull over for traffic violations on College Street. The driver failed to comply, fleeing the scene before the Sulphur Springs officer approached. According to the reports, the lawman followed in pursuit, summoning additional officers to join the chase through College Street, towards downtown square.

After a brief chase, the eluding vehicle struck a power pole before smashing into a low brick wall at the intersection of Oak Avenue and College Street. The three teenagers abandoned the disabled vehicle and fled on foot, but barely covered a few blocks when officers intercepted them.

A registration check on the vehicle they were riding confirmed it was stolen. Officers said the registered owner was a Sulphur Springs resident who reported the theft earlier that day. Authorities recovered another stolen vehicle from the teenagers during the investigation.

The Sulphur Springs Police Department successfully linked Wilkerson and Flecker to several other burglaries reported previously.

The accident reports revealed that they detained Wilkerson and an unidentified juvenile on suspicion of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest in a vehicle. Flecker got a warrant for unauthorized use of a vehicle.
