Jeremy Brown Identified as Fatal Victim of Peoria Motorcycle Accident

The Peoria County Coroner’s Office revealed on Monday, August 31st, the identity of the man killed in a motorcycle accident in Peoria, Illinois. Coroner Jamie Harwood named Jeremy Brown, a 31-year-old Chillicothe resident, as the fatal victim.

Harwood said that the man sustained severe blunt force head trauma after getting ejected from his bike and probably died instantly. He added that there would not be an autopsy, but they are awaiting the result of a toxicology test.

The crash occurred on Saturday night, August 29th. Facts from the accident report placed the time of the occurrence around 11:15 p.m. on the northbound lane of Illinois Route 6 north of Knoxville Avenue.

The report stated that Brown’s motorcycle went off the left side of the four-lane divided roadway, crossed the median and landed on the left southbound shoulder. There is no additional information.
