Dustin Rogers, a 17-year-old Hesperia youth, died from severe injuries Monday evening at around 9 PM after he was struck by a car. The boy had been skateboarding around 5:13 am when a speeding sedan hit him. The incident occurred between Cottonwood Avenue and Poplar Street in San Bernardino. Rogers died 16 hours after the accident at Desert Regional medical center. The San Bernardino Sheriff’s department is currently investigating the accident.
